Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia web hosting Control Panel is a standard accessory only in combination with the Debian Linux OS and arrives for free. With Hepsia you can host unmetered web page names under one user account. This is conceivable thanks to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager tool. The other Control Panel tools, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are obtainable only in combination with CentOS. As opposed to Hepsia, with them you must have 2 separate web hosting user accounts. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not provide any domain registration/transfer/administration services. If you go for Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated web hosting server, there will be no Control Panel choice.
Hosted Hostnames 2 - unmetered domain names can be hosted with all available Control Panel tools, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your hostnames under a single hosting user account. Sadly, the cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting CP devices do not supply such functionality at all - there is no Domain Manager section and hence they call for TWO separate logins: one domain administration/billing/support user account and one site management user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will find that the Hepsia hosting CP can run on Debian Linux only. It's free of charge to run it on your dedicated hosting web server. Hepsia is not offered with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel tools can operate only with the CentOS Operating System. Neither of them is offered with Debian or Ubuntu.
